This soft, light weight scarf is hand-woven with a tie-dyed pattern and is produced by a women's fairtrade cooperative in Northern Thailand.  A great summer scarf that you can wear into the upcoming fall season.   Dress up your look with this colorful tie-dyed accessory.  

Due to the handmade nature of our scarfs, each scarf is a unique, one of a kind creation in color and design. We often have only one or two of the same color or pattern. Slight imperfections of the weave are characteristic of silk hand-woven scarves and add to the beauty and uniqueness of the scarves, and differentiate it from a machine made scarves.

The village women's cooperative undertakes the entire production process; they feed the silk worms with mulberry leaves; collect the cocoons; unravel the silk thread; hand-dye the silk; create the designs and hand weave the textiles.
