This hand-woven, fair trade, scarf is produced by a women's cooperative iN Northern Thailand. This lightweight scarf is hand-woven with a tye-dyed pattern.
Due to the handmade nature of our scarves, each scarf is a unique, one of a kind creation in color and design. We often have only one or two of the same color or pattern. Slight imperfections of the weave are characteristic of hand-woven scarves and add to the beauty and uniqueness of the scarves, and differentiate it from a machine made scarves.
The village cooperative undertakes the entire production process; they grow the cotton; hand-dye the cotton; hand weave the textiles and tye-dye the item.
